Poland regulates nicotine pouches; it does not ban them.
The amending Act of 21 May 2025 added a definition of "nicotine pouches" to the tobacco health-protection Act and took effect on 5 July 2025.
Nicotine content is capped at 20 mg per gram. Note that this is a concentration, not a per-pouch dose, so it is not shown in the strength field above.
Sale to anyone under 18 is prohibited. Pouches may not be sold at a distance, which closes online sale to Polish consumers, nor through vending machines or self-service displays.
Additives including vitamins, caffeine and CMR substances are prohibited. Excise duty has applied since 1 April 2025.
