Czechia regulates nicotine pouches by decree. Decree 141/2023 Sb. has applied since 1 July 2023.
A single dose may contain at most 12 mg of nicotine. A unit pack may contain at most 240 mg, and must hold at least 20 doses — a floor that stops very small, very strong packs.
The decree also sets composition, labelling and quality requirements, and obliges the manufacturer to notify the product.
Sale to anyone under 18 is prohibited by Act 65/2017 Sb., the general tobacco and nicotine protection Act.
